And our film review this week our film review is mimic.

Mimic was released in 1997 it has six out of 10 on IMDb and 65% on rotten tomatoes.

A disease carried by common cockroaches is killing Manhattan children.

In an effort to stop the epidemic, an entomologist, Susan Tyler creates a mutant breed of insect that secret

a fluid to kill the roaches. This mutant breed was engineered to die after one generation, but three years later

Susan finds out that the species has survived and evolved into a large gruesome monster that can mimic human form.

And as always with these film reviews we're going to do likes, we're going to do dislikes and we're going to start with our likes.

So listen, I didn't know what to expect with this film. I

never heard of it. I had never seen it. Nick and I are doing a bit of a marathon of

90s disaster movies at the moment and 90s monster movies.

So we've watched Godzilla Dante's Peak,

Volcano, Deep Impact, something else that I can't remember, but that you get the idea, right, you get the gist.

Twister, that was another one, so we've been watching all of those kind of classic films and Nick was like, oh, why don't we watch Mimic?

So I was like, yeah, cool.

And then later I looked it up and I text him and I was like,
