how are you doing Katie? I'm doing great this morning David how are you? I'm

great and I'm really thrilled to have our

guest today welcome to the show David Allen hey delighted to be here with you guys

you know David I told you an email before we started the show that I really attribute my ability to you know to pull things off to you.

And yeah, years ago you know when guys like Merlin Mann and some of the other people in tech community

were talking about GTD I didn't know what to really think of it then I bought the

book and now I'm just the biggest fan it's it's really made such a big difference

in my life. Cool that's always made such a big difference in my life.

Cool. That's always nice to hear. I always love to... I never know what sticks out there for people,

so it's really nice when I hear that it did.

Yeah, I've always felt that, you know, and you say this in the book that in the book getting things

done for the few people out there who haven't heard of it in our audience, that you talked

about, you had this very, in the beginning of the book you talked about knowledge workers and how

traditional task management systems don't really work with the way the world is changing.

And I always felt that that phrase and that thought was very

instrumental in the way GTD works for me because the world has changed and we do

have all these technology bits thrown at us now in addition to more

traditional things and we do need a task management system that works and that's

why I think GTD has just been so successful and I congratulate you on that.
