I think we were both feeling this, and you texted me and asked if I wanted to do a Christmas reading this year, and I do.

Why do you want to do it this year?

One, sentimental reasons. I love Christmas, but just it's a special time of year. It's my

favorite thing. My birthday is on Christmas. Maybe that makes me a sucker for it. Two, I think

everybody is particularly reflective at this time of year. And this is a time-tested thing

to be reflective about. It positions us against the big picture of time and God, mortality,

all of those things. I just think it's a good time of year to think about the stuff that Christmas

makes you think about this time of year. And third, you and I hadn't been on mics together for a while. And this is stuff we both care about and I just thought it'd be cool to read it with you. Yeah, man. I really enjoyed the way we did it several years ago where we got cozy and we got a fire going. You remember getting a fire going? Do you still have the ability to do that?

I didn't remember that until you said it, but obviously there should be a fire. Yeah. Okay, you're right on this. Can you just build one real quick? Yeah, it's the easiest thing in the world.
