Pharaoh in the story of Moses. this statement to

to Moses. to Moses, he says the statement to Moses about Pharaoh.

He says, when you go back to Egypt and you do all these miracles before

Pharaoh, I am going to harden his heart so that he will not let

the people go. And we talked in the last few episodes about why God can do that, why it's okay and right for God to do that.

And now we're going to deal a little bit with what was God's purpose in doing it,

because in our lives, this isn't just a fictional character.

Pharaoh was a real person.

And he's not just a person from the past.

He is a representation of us and the people around us.

We are all creatures of God who got at any time can direct in the

exact way he wants us to go.

And so we need to ask the question, why does God do things such as what he did with

Pharaoh? Why would he harden someone's heart to the point that they sin like
