So Teresa, after you're able to process a lot of the childhood memories and the abuse and come to terms,

and as Beway is wrapping up, what led to the next phase in life for you?

Well, just as I was finishing my degree, I finally got the guts up to get married to Jared,

and that I shortly after my wedding, in part because of the catastrophe,

that my parents inflicted upon my wedding, including a funny story,

my mom wearing the same dress as me to my wedding.

Hopefully, that's like some out of the movies.

I know, right? I know.

I know. She was an hour late to my temple ceremony,

and then she showed up at the reception wearing the same dress as me.

Oh, yeah.

And there's a whole, oh, there's, that's just the part that's funny.

So after that, you know, and I should backtrack and say that obviously with my turning your parents into the cops

will tend to strain your relationship with them.

And so there were some pretty massive, massive consequences for that.

My parents got divorced finally, shortly after.

And that's quick, real quick.

Does child protective services tell your parents that you were the one who told on them?

Theoretically, it's anonymous, but I got, I had been exploring these issues with my siblings.
