I am in my villain era as you know from the last podcast episode. I am also in my era of letting things be easy. I am the master over thinker I am the master over complicator and I'm realizing too a lot of that comes from people

policing. This is actually an honest question for you guys an answer on YouTube.

If you are someone who tends to over complicate things, do you also have a people-pleasing

streak?

Because I've noticed that that is a lot of what makes me complicate things is I'm living in other people's heads.

And that is very exhausting.

It is so exhausting to live in other people's heads where you have this whole narrative playing out about what they

think of you and they're angry about this and they're angry about that.

We talked about this in a previous episode that I had a friend who was talking about how they got in a fight and her husband was

saying that she's the worst wife and she's so useless and it turns out he

didn't say those words it was from the way he walked across the room that she was interpreting that.

So I think a lot of it has to do with people pleasing,

but a lot of it also has to do with wanting to optimize and wanting to get the right outcome. If you

have a fear of doing things wrong, if you do it the right way, it's going to be a

contest, if you do it the wrong way, it's going to be a catastrophe, it's going to be such a big problem that will also lead you to

over complicating things and and this has actually helped me a lot and there's even

when I'm getting stuff done replying to emails or whatever how can I let this be easy is what it says and I wish also that when my kids were

little I had asked that question as well because that's another area of life
