Well, hello there. I hope you have had a great holiday season with your family so far.

If you have been a listener to the podcast for any length of time, this actually wraps up our

fifth season, then you know that normally I take a break around the holidays. Last year,

I think I took a two-week break. But this year, I decided to go ahead and continue the weekly episodes.

But today's episode is actually going to be a little bit different. It's something that I've

never done in the past. I've never rebroadcast episodes before, just because I really want to

always give you fresh content. But last year, the most popular episode of the year

was the episode that was entitled Seven Steps

to Preplan Your 2021 Garden.

Now it's hard to say why that was so popular,

but for some reason it was.

And I thought, you know what, we could all use a refresher, especially those of us

who've been gardening for a year or more. We have learned a lot this year. And we're starting to think

about ways that we want to plan our garden for 2022. So I actually went back to that episode from last year,

and I re-listened to it again and it was very helpful

for me. So in this week's episode, I'm going to rebroadcast that podcast episode. However, at the end,

I'm actually going to add three other steps because there are some things that have changed

between last year and this year.

And there's also some things that I realized would be helpful for you to think about as we go

into 2022 that just weren't on my radar this year. So in this episode, we're going to start out
