So it's a Monday, second Monday of the year already.

Wow, it's crazy stuff, right?

The year just marches on, time marches on.

As I delay talking about why we're here today,

and that is to talk about the Oakland Athletics.

I've been down on the Oakland athletics system for years and I continue to

be that way. In 2020, 24 is no exception. I do not like this system at all. I don't like how

they're approaching things. They need a complete shift at the top.

Billy Bean, I'm assuming he's still there.

You don't hear anything more about it.

It just seems like his, at least from a player development and drafting and trading standpoint,

everything has not worked out.

Things have just not gone well.

Lawrence Butler has a chance to be a nice little player.

Maybe swing and miss.

There's a lot of swing and miss.

It doesn't hit the ball as hard as you might think.
