Welcome to Fantasy Baseball Live, our Just Prospect podcast.

We are five, six of the way done going through our minor league systems.

We have finished the National League West, a really, really good division.

And we are on to the American League West, where three of the five teams, while two teams

have excellent minor league systems and the Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners,

bad systems in Oakland and Los Angeles, really rough systems.

They're going to be very short podcasts.

And then the Houston Astros, which we do today, kind of middle of the road.

There's some guys in there that are very interesting, kind of a boom and bust system.

There's some guys that have some very, very high upside toolsy players, but the likelihood of

them making it to the major leagues as impact players is kind of uncertain at the moment. So that's

kind of where we are with the Houston Astros system. And it's almost become kind of like a Philadelphia

Philly system or back in the day the

Miami Marlins systems with hitters. And we all know how that kind of, kind of worked out for both

of those teams. The Phillies have had some success with Alex Baum and Bryson Stott. The Marlins have had almost no success with any of their guys coming up

him hezsou sanchise maybe if you squint you can maybe see somebody developing there but they don't

have any high floor players or very few high floor players and the first guy on the the list is Jacob Melton, who kind of epitomizes the entire system.

And I like Jacob Melton.

I have them in a number of Dynasty League leagues.

And so before I do Jacob Melton, I've always, I always like Jacob Melton a little bit more from a fantasy standpoint than Drew Gilbert.
