That's like a children's presenter, you know, when they turn to the backdrop behind them

and they've got a little doll's house, they're going to talk to a little person and

You do sound, if I may say so, completely fine.

But you do have news. I mean, let's face it, not everybody is on the Twitter sphere and

we'll have known when the alert claxon went out 48 hours ago that one of the nation's treasures

had tested positive. But you've got COVID, haven't you loved?

I've got a dose of the COVID. I have to say, and I'm being completely honest here, I have

been very, very fortunate, I think, to get it now after two vaccinations and my booster.

So what I am enduring and enduring is probably an exaggeration. It's just a bit of a nasty

cold because when you had it, you got quite a nasty. You got it, it was horrible, wasn't

it? But I just don't think this compares.

That's the thing that's incredibly difficult to work out, isn't it? You know, whether or

not, if you've got two jabs and a booster, I mean, I don't think you can assume that you're

just going to get a very mild version because it might have to do lots of other things,

Jane. No, you're absolutely right. It's impossible, everybody's different, who knows. But I would

say my suffering, such as it is, is now limited to needing a lot of cups of tea and getting

irrational about how little milk we've got left and increasingly frustrated that I can't
