Happy to have you here. I've just done a very brief intro there, JP, but tell people a little bit

about who you are and what exactly it is that you do.

Yeah, so thank you for having me on first. So yeah, like you mentioned, my name is JP Cortez.

I run a public policy group called the Sound Money Defense League.

This is a public policy group that primarily focuses on constitutional sound money that is

to say Golden Silver, which are both mentioned in the Constitution. But here, me personally,

I'm a big, big coin fan, a big fan of sound money and all the things that sound money promises.

So we go state to say it's a primarily a state policy project. So I'll go state to state

introducing legislation to eliminate taxes on Golden Silver to establish in-state depositories

to bolster state pension funds or taxpayer reserve funds with Golden Silver. So we work to remove

all of the disincentives in the way of people getting into and out of Sound Money if they choose.

So there's that policy part and obviously that's very important. And over the last six or seven

years now, I've worked to write legislation and to pass legislation in more than a dozen states

at this point doing several different things. And so the policy part is obviously important, but

the education part is something that I've been leaning in more and more to over the last couple

years. The reality is there are 8,000 about 8,000 elected state legislators in the United States,

most of which have never heard the term sound money, most of which have never really thought about
