During that time he produced 27 All Americans, multiple WAC titles, and the great Stephen Abas, who was a 3x NCAA Champion and an Olympic Silver Medalist. I'll give you a long story short. When I was coaching, when I was watching guys coach,

And he walked into the gym one time or never forget it, but playing high school is walking in

with his team. And I knew they were the best team. I wasn't coaching then yet.

And I looked at him and I said, you know, someday I'm going to have a team like that.

We can endure anything and adapt and pivot and change. Wrestling gave us that ability.

I would say nothing in life has impacted me or the things wrestling has taught me in terms of

self-reflection, resilience, toughness. Some guys have it, some guys don't.
