Hello everybody welcome to the Minimists podcast we're

going to discuss what it means to live a meaningful life with less my name is

Joshua Philz-Milber and I'm Ryan Nicodemus and together we're the

Minimists today we're going to talk about fame we're going to talk about

notoriety we're going to talk about the difference between being famous and

being well-known and we're going to talk about the upsides and downsides of

stardom with today's guest Jeanette McCurdy is here an actual famous person

thanks so much for being here thanks for having me I think you're probably like

the most famous person that's been on our podcast so far really yeah well I

guess it depends on who he has not you guys are doing the podcast so that's

crazy so you probably know Jeanette from Icarly Sam McCat she's she's an

actress she is a singer-writer producer director we'll talk about a lot of

that I also want to talk about how we first met but first I just a quick

update for our audience we're getting ready to go on tour the the less

coast tour yes and we're going to be in eight cities U.S. and Canada and we had a

bit of a small problem with the venue so I just want to give people an update

here all of the events are now teenager friendly we had a bit of a problem

where there were like three or four of the venues where it's like 18 or 21

and so we had to go back to the venues and sort of work it out with each of

them and and so now every venue is teenager friendly if you want to check out
