I'm your host Heather Ashley, and today's case is out of Streeter, Illinois.

Small talk sucks, so let's dive in.

Born on April 29, 1995, Dalton Alexander Masarchick was described as a good boy,

who was always polite and never got into any trouble.

He grew up in Streeter, which is a small town of about 14,000 people in North Central Illinois.

Dalton lived with his parents, two brothers, and three sisters,

and the most neighbor of neighborhoods you could imagine,

and it was in the 400 block of West Morel Street.

Eventually, somewhere around 2001, the journal star reports that Dalton's parents,

Michelle and George got divorced, but they decided to keep living together to save some money

and with six kids to raise that does make a whole lot of sense.
