a.Atlanta gets Kelenic, Marco Gonzalez, and Evan White, and Seattle gets Jackson Kowar and Cole Phillips
b.This was somewhat of a salary dump for Seattle, and the key is Kelenic for the Braves, as both Gonzalez and White have been subsequently moved. What did you think about the trade?
c.Is Kelenic an upgrade for the Braves in left field? He’s going as the 51st outfielder off the board. We will discuss other guys around him to see who you would rather draft.
d.Who gets the playing time in Seattle?
3.Juan Soto was traded to the Yankees.
a.The huge trade of the off-season to-date. Soto and Grisham go to the Yankees, and in return, the Padres receive four pitchers: Michael King, Drew Thorpe, Randy Vazques, Jhony Brito, and catcher Kyle Higashioka.
b.A lot to unpack.
i.The setup for this season for Soto is great. In his walk year, does he walk through the door and have a monster season? Stat line: HR, SB, and BA
ii.How do you like the return for the Padres
iii.Let’s compare this haul for the Padres for what they gave to Washington to get Soto. CJ Abrams, James Woods, MacKenzie Gore, Robert Hassell and Jarlin Sussana. Was it worth the one year they made the playoffs where they went to the NLCS where they lost to the Phillies in 2022?
4.Alex Verdugo was traded to the Yankees.
a.Verdugo goes to the Yankees, In return, Boston receives a trio of pitchers in Richard Fitts, Greg Weissert, and Nicholas Judice

5.Erick Feede signed with the White Sox for 2-years and $15 million.
a.He did well moving to Asia. Interested? He’s going at pick 671, which is surely to go up.
6.Craig Kimbrel signs with Baltimore for one year and $13 million, including a club option for 2025.
a.Over/Under 30 saves for Kimbrel.
7.Eduardo Rodriguez signed with the Diamondbacks for 4-years and $80 million.
a.I thought this was a nice acquisition by the D-Backs. After their big three (Gallen, Kelly, and Pfaadt), putting E-Rod as your #4, seems very strong. Your thoughts?

8.The Reds signed Jeimer Candelario for 3-year and $45 million.
a.Candelario is a fine player and can play third or first for the Reds. HOWEVER, why did the Reds sign him?
