Summary

It’s said that there are a lot of dark spirits in New Orleans. It might be one of the most haunted cities in the entire world and one story that the city can’t seem to escape is that of Madame LaLaurie. The rumors go like this - she tortured her victims and experimented on them. It’s said she liked to drill skulls into victims’ heads and insert spoons inside so she could “stir their brains.” It’s said that she would stick ash, feces, and other vile things into the victim’s mouths, ears, and eyes, and sew them shut. Another disturbing rumor was that she would cut holes into their stomachs, pull out their intestines, and wrap them around their bodies like belts. Whatever the rumors were, the truth was much worse in the haunted LaLaurie mansion in New Orleans. Full Source Notes: rottenmangopodcast.com This episode is brought to you by BetterHelp.
