Butts and cuts and, and boots and... Hey friends you're about to hear the first half of my conversation with Alex

Brightman.

On a rainy Monday night in February,

we sat down together on Alex's day off

from Beeljus at the Winter Garden Theater.

And in the time since we recorded this,

the world has changed a lot.

We'll get into this a lot more in episode two, but

Beetlejuice was scheduled to leave the Winter Garden

Theater on June 6th. With Broadway announcing that it'll stay dark

until June 7th, Beetlejuice has officially closed at the

Winter Garden, Which sucks.

The good news is that the 2021 tour is still happening,

and from what I'm reading on the Broadway news sites,

the show's producers are hoping they can find another theater

for when everything is up and running again.

But we won't know anything about that for a while.

Anyway, all this to say. Well, yeah, some of what we talk about might be a little dated.

My hang with Alex is still super fun and super interesting and I'm really excited to share it with you.
