Michael, welcome back. You are back in a country that makes sense, and you've had an experience

slumming it with us Americans for a little while. How'd that go? Yeah, I was actually saying

to a dinner last night, like, how long ago it was since the last time we recorded. Yeah,

it feels like ages. It does. It absolutely does. Because we're a little late in the month.

So I wanted to wait until I got home.

Like I wanted to wait until WWC was done and then we were in San Francisco for a week and

I wanted to record just the shows that had to be recorded that week, right?

So like the news focus stuff and everything else that just, you know, either did before or do after. And I also thought,

you know, probably fun to talk about WWDC. I was hoping that we would be able to talk about

a warm, loving embrace, but you didn't make it out this time again, which I'm very sad about.

Yes. I assure you, no one is more sad than me. No, I had, you know, scheduled, I had booked a hotel

reservations, as one did and as I have done for many, many years, accepting last year. And,

and they were refundable, of course, and I booked them for the two weeks I thought were likely.

And then at about the same time, everyone got some sort of communication from Apple PR.

Unfortunately, mine said, hey, here's one you can watch online.

And fortunately, yours said,

The heartbreak email, you mean.

Exactly.

Yes.

And yours said, hey, why don't you come visit and watch with us?

And I did not get one of those. I pled and begged and did whatever I could to try to make my case. But I was not a chosen one for this year. And I'm really, really sad about it. And I don't think it's worth talking about because I want this to be a happy episode. We'll talk about it maybe eventually one day when I'm less sad and grumpy about it. But I was sad.

I was said I am sad. But I am not sad. In fact, I am relieved and happy and thankful that you got
