Hello and welcome to the show. It is a great show. It is a terrific show. It is a tremendous show. Frankly, the best. You can ask

anyone about that. People often do. This is Beauty and the Beta. My name is Matt Christensen.

I'm flanked on my right, as always, by my wonderful co-host. Blonde, welcome. Hello.

Hope everybody had a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend. I'm thankful that we did in our household.

And I trust you did as well.

Yeah, but it was kind of sad, you know.

I was engaging in all this Americana.

And I was just looking around and I was like, wow, we are so fucked.

Like, I feel really bad engaging in this.

It might be the last one ever. So hopefully it was going. Did you get an actual fireworks show like a professional one? No, it was just a bunch of like lawless Americans shooting off fireworks in their yard until 2 a.m. It was really pissing me off. We had a drug all of our dogs. There was a high volume of, um, of, um, of, um, amateurs making up for the lack of professional shows. We went up to Big Sky, Montana and there wasn't supposed to be, there wasn't supposed to be a fireworks show anywhere in the area here. Secretly, they decided to do a show on the summit of the actual ski resort mountain, which was awesome. It was one of the coolest fireworks shows I've ever seen, but it was only like five minutes.

Still. America. Incredible. Glad I got to see it. I think they canceled the fireworks show here because

they get the fireworks from China. Oh, well, then I guess job well done. Maybe that's appropriate.
