Welcome to the Bible Study podcast. I'm your host, Chris Christensen. You may remember last week,

0:21.5

Daniel and his three friends got in trouble because they were some of the wise men, but they

0:27.1

were gotten out of trouble because Daniel was given the ability to interpret dreams and, in fact,

0:33.3

was told the king's dream without even having to be told by the king, and this not only saved his

0:38.8

life and the lives of his three friends, but all of the wise men in the kingdom. So as you can

0:43.6

1:29.2

this is what you are commanded to do. As soon as you hear the sound of the horn, flute,

1:34.1

zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, you must fall down and worship the image of

1:39.6

gold that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. Whoever does not fall down and worship will immediately be thrown

1:45.8

into a blazing furnace. Therefore, as soon as they heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither,

1:52.2

lyre, harp, and all kinds of music, all the nations and people of every language fell down and

1:57.4

worshipped the image of gold that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
