0:56.0	Thank you. Call me, John, and that was a nice introduction. Yeah, the U.S. Catholic bishops,
1:01.0	according to the U.S. CCTV, 40% of their budget last year was federal money.
1:05.9	That was paid to them in contracts, mostly to serve immigrants. Think about that.
1:10.5	40% of their money is federal. That means 40% of their activities must be secular.
1:16.4	That is indistinguishable. So they can't, they're not printing out a catechism or putting in
1:20.4	an altar or tabernacle or a new church. This is pure, yeah, secular, 40% of their activity.
1:27.0	Not necessarily evil purposes, you know, teaching refugees to speak English, that's fine, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's not exactly a spiritual or a corporal work of mercy.
1:39.0	You're not going to get closer to heaven, you're not going to get saved or get out of purgatory. get
1:44.0	out of purgatory because you use federal money that's been collected from taxpayers on pain
1:49.5	of imprisonment and you get paid a nice wage to teach somebody to speak English.
1:55.0	That's not evil, but it's not Christian charity.
1:57.8	You don't need to be bishops to do it.
1:59.8	In fact, everything the bishops do that is paid for by the government is indistinguishable
