Summary
For the past several years, Christians have been confronted with the chaos coming from the progressive left. We’ve seen words become redefined, biblical gender and sexuality become confused, and the push for abortion rights become stronger. It can be tempting to push back by swinging from one extreme to the other. It’s important to remember what unites us in the first place. My friend Jon Root joins the podcast today to share an urgent warning with the church about what he calls “Christ-less conservatism,” and how Christians can stand for conservative values in a hostile culture without compromising biblical faith.

| 0:57.3 | Christian faith or their biblical values, whereas it's like if we can all just agree on |
| 1:01.2 | this one political point, then we're going to let our theology flow out of that. |
| 1:04.9 | But that's a really scary place to be because as we've learned on the podcast before, that's |
| 1:09.4 | what progressive Christians do. |
| 1:10.4 | They start with their politics and their theology flows downstream from that. |
| 1:14.3 | As biblical Christians, we need to always keep our eyes on what is the biblical path. |
| 1:18.9 | And sometimes that's going to line up with some of the conservative politics, sometimes |
