Welcome everyone, good afternoon. I'm Susan Coffin. I'm here for Attitude

magazine and Attitudes ADHD experts webinar series. So welcome to all of you

today for joining us and welcome Sharon Seyline who's our expert speaker today on a topic of huge

interest which is how to motivate teens without threats or arguments.

As some of you may know,

at Attitude, we recently launched a new program

called Dear Teen Parenting Coach.

It's on both the Attitude website

and in magazine as a column.

And as part of that program, we invited our readers

to submit questions on teen parenting via an online form.

So these questions are the ones that we present

to our expert panel of teen experts who answer and those answers are then

posted in both on the website and also appear in the common print.

So the response has been tremendous.

Motivating teens was a huge concern for many of you

whether it's homework or sleep or screen time. You reported basically feeling

exasperated and exhausted trying to teach responsibility, motivation, and follow through to your team.

So Sharon Saline, who's been a wonderful expert responder in this column for us, is going to talk

to us today about a collaborative approach to motivating teens, increasing their buy-in and

increasing their personal accountability and fostering independence.
