It carries a rich history dating back to its early settlement by W.J. Boston, an esteemed storekeeper.

Located approximately 160 miles north-east of Dallas, the time saw the emergence of two more Boston's with the development of the railroad.

One of these was New Boston, positioned about four miles north of the original settlement.

It was within the confines of this close-knit community, the 21-year-old Reagan Simmons Hancock resided.

She was the first born to her parents, and had a real strong bond with her mother, Jessica Brooks.

Reflecting on her daughter's character, Jessica finally recalled Reagan's unwavering love for those she trusted, and her genuine desire to assist anybody in need.
