Hello heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your Game Master.

Four years ago, to this very day, the first episode of One Shot aired.

I've spoken about that moment and that series on many

different shows and many different introductions, including all of the previous anniversary

introductions that I've done for this show. I'm speaking to you now

recording out of the living room in my home and I'm looking at the picture that we

put up for our very first episode of One Shot with the young faces of my dear friends Cat Cool, Pat O'Rourke,

John Patrick Cohen, and Zach Mast.

Every year because of the anniversary I'm forced to take stock of what we've done here at One Shot,

the amount of time that I personally have contributed to this project.

The raw talent my friends have invested, and the enthusiasm that I get from all of you. These days, thanks

in no small part to you, this is my job. This is what should be a mundane part of my existence.

It's the thing that I need to do in order to keep living.

But sitting here, recording the introduction to the show,

the thing that I absolutely need to provide for every single episode

in order for it to make sense.

The thing that stops me from crawling into bed and going to sleep early every Sunday night feels like one of the best conversations
