And happy Friday, everybody.

What a great day it is to get to wake up and be alive.

I am coming to you live from beautiful, sunny, warm, Tuscany.

Oh, my gosh.

It is so beautiful here. My husband and I just finished learning how to make

homemade fresh pasta. And gosh, life is good. And I'm thrilled that I get to spend a few minutes

here with you. So the title of today's episode of the Big Life Devotional podcast is,

don't be an asofoi. No, I'm not cursing, but I'm going to teach you a new word,

asofoi. This is a Greek word. You spell it, A-S-O-P-H-O-I.

Asopoi, do you know what this means?

It's actually from Scripture.

So our scripture today, as we continue our study, in the book of Ephesians, we're

now in chapter 5.

We're going to read two verses today, actually three verses, verses, verses 15, 16, and 17. So Ephesians chapter 5 starting in verse 15,

Paul says, so be careful how you live. Like take that seriously. Be careful how you live. Are you

living carelessly? Be careful how you live. Don't live like fools,

but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don't act

thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.
