Summary

After race weekend at Kansas Speedway, T.J Majors, Freddie Kraft and Brett Griffin are in studio to give their insider perspective on all that went down. T.J. shares why he believes Joey Logano struggled this go around at Kansas after his victory last fall. Freddie details what went wrong for Bubba Wallace and why he tells Turn 2 to “kiss my ass.” Brett updates us on what it’s like in his new retired life as a baseball dad and couch spotter. NASCAR’s decision making behind throwing a caution 15 laps after a tire sat in the infield grass was called into question during Sunday’s race. The guys weigh in on the inconsistency they see when it comes to when cautions are called and what should have been done in this instance. This yellow flag then produced wild restarts to decide the race, where clean air proved to be king once again. The guys analyze its impact on who prevails and what kind of racing is produced as a result of the current aero package. Kyle Larson and Ryan Blaney saw their strong runs derailed when they got into each other with 2 laps to go. Hear what the spotters think Larson did wrong and how the situation could have been avoided. NASCAR and Texas Motor Speedway unveiled the All-Star Race format last week. The guys try to understand what’s happening and break down the rule changes for the non-points event in June. The Next Gen car will be unveiled to the public for the first time this week. Ahead of that announcement, the gang talks the ramifications of this new car and why it may not actually save teams money. Plus, hear how it could change everything in multiple ways for NASCAR. In Reaction Theatre, some callers try to leave nice messages while others are not so nice. Hear which spotter takes the most hate this week and the answer may surprise you. It’s now off to Darlington Raceway for throwback weekend. Hear the guys talk about what they expect to see during the first visit to “The Lady in Black” this season.
