Do you feel like money's changed you?

Yeah, very good. It's a really, that's a tough, touchy emotional question.

So it's a yes and no answer.

So up until my 30s, I was obsessed about it really.

And then after my dad made this huge score,

we'll call it in the cellular phone industry,

he built a house in Lake Tahoe.

What was his dream to retire in Lake Tahoe and ski off the rest of his life.

And it was Christmas, you know, about 30 years ago, and it was like the top of the market for the

family at large, meaning all my brother, sisters, stepbrother, and sisters, everybody was doing

well, everybody was happy, we're starting families. Everything was going

really really well. My dad was obviously doing quite well. His new wife was great

everything just couldn't be better. And three days later, four days later,

on the New Year's Eve day, my dad was hit by a truck and paralyzed from the neck down.

And so I flew back and saw the reality of what money really means.

And so he had, you know, multiple million dollar worth,

you know, the house was probably worth at that time.

We're talking 30 years ago, I'm like Tahoe probably 1.2 million so I don't know it's 10 now I don't

know. Anyway the point I'm making is that he would have given up all that money to be

able to walk again. So from that point to this point I have always put health above wealth and I've always put money in the proper perspective because there's nothing more intimate than seeing someone you love that much in a

compromise position and you get a whole let's say attitude adjustment.

After that my focus was changed dramatically and I've lived my life differently really ever since.
