But I'll tell you what my first thought was when I saw a wildfire is which way is the wind blowing? That must be everybody's first thought upon seeing a wildfire. How close is it? Which way is the wind blowing and will they shut the bar? Which is the great thing about being the comedian I am is I don't have to pretend I'm a good person. and I don't have to pretend I was sitting there

worrying about the planet.

I was just thinking,

I mean, I literally came off stage, walked across the meadows and sat down.

Any wildfires in Edinburgh?

They've killed for a wildfire up there honestly last year last year the weather was absolutely

glorious up here and it was you did think the whole world is on fire but edinburgh is actually

quite pleasant now um it it's been raining a fair bit i'll be honest with you um but no at the

moment it's just sort of dull and grey. Okay, we'll tell you that. What's your show called? What times it on? Ian Stone will make it better. It is on at 4 o'clock every day at the Countinghouse Ballroom, which is on West Nicholson Street in the centre of town. And we should reassure people, certainly after a couple of recent episodes, you're not just going to be slagging off the Tories and, I don't know, Donald Trump. That's what people worry about and listen to this podcast. If they go and see comedy, they'll be slagging off the Tories for a whole... The way you're looking back at me now, suggests you might well be slagging off the Tories for a good 40 minutes or so. Half an hour, at most. At most. Yeah. Yeah. And also, by the way, I do get into the left as well. I do get into the left, quite a bit, actually, particularly the Corbinista left because of the whole Jewish thing, which, you know, you'll see in the show. But I do talk about the left as well and my general disillusion with the political system and the way that it's set up and the analog nature of it as opposed to, you know, in our digital age, well, we can come and see the show. And I will, but I do slake off the tourist. Well, I mean, the thing is I do. Rightly so, Jeff, right? Well, look, I'll lay you in on something. He's a couple of weeks ago I had Matt Ford on and he went off on one. I mean, properly, like, got into it with the Tories and there was some kickback from what most people think faithful who weren't... Didn't feel that I challenged Matt enough. So if you're saying anything, mate, if you're talking about, don't be surprised if I'd just go,

shut the fuck up, Stoney. That's bullshit. Leave them alone. Like if you mentioned the sewage without backing up, what Labour would do. I don't think you should say backing up when talking about sewage. This is my feeling generally, but I understand the point you're making. Yes, no, I've got, I've got, I've got, actually, on that note, actually, I've got to say. So, so I knew that there would be pushback. I kind of knew, like, as the podcast was being recorded, they would ruffle some feathers. And I knew that I'd get a couple of bad reviews on Apple Podcasts, but there's one I've never normally read out of the One Stars, but this one, I thought it was pretty funny. This was from a, I won't mention his name because he's entitled to give his opinion, but he said, I love Jeff right up until the Matt Ford interview. Now, I would say, if you loved me, if you actually loved me right up until one fucking podcast, I don't

think it was ever really loved. I think it's about control. It's a very toxic relationship.

It's not like you haven't, you haven't spoken to other people on, you've spoken to me. Apparently,

I'm not as left wing as Matt Ford, which is saying something. You seem less left wing with every passing year. It must be said. But the funny thing is, is you know what this game's like. So earlier today, I was on the Storm Huntley show on the sort of Jeremy Vine multiverse. I don't know. It's now got three separate shows that run. And I criticise Starman.

We will be talking about Kear in today's show. We'll also be talking about Boris's, well, second jobs for MPs, but Boris is absolutely creaming it in. You know, I don't like you calling him Boris, by the way, but you know what? We've had this discussion before. Oh, well, we've got to get Mr. Johnson? that's weird, isn't it?
