And you know I, uh, the way Rubin I handle these drafts is we divvy up the initial story when they pick a player.

So for number 53, it was on me.

And we had a few pre-written stories ready to go.

I had an idea of a list of guys that I was like

my secrets. I was mentally prepared to write stories on a list of like

20 players like I mentally and then Jeline Hurts from Oklahoma it it took me longer to write that story

than I think it's ever taking me to write any draft story ever

because I can just write it straight and say they took this player but I was trying to understand it before I

wrote anything about it and here we are what what, four hours later, and I still don't get it at all.

Yeah, we've talked to the general manager, the head coach, and the player personnel director twice.

I still don't get it.

pick really surprised me in 36 because I knew he wanted to go into the

rubber and plastic business. Now I you know John Harris was probably the most surprising one in 97, first round pick.
