Our Just Prospect podcast.

Today is January 16th, which is Martin Luther King Day here in America at

1.30 in the afternoon.

As we wrap up our project that's been going on all fall and winter,

and that is looking at the top prospect in each organization.

We do the same pattern every year.

We start off with the central.

We move to the east and we finished up with the West.

And the last team is always the Texas Rangers. Why do we do it that way? I haven't a clue.

When I first started writing about prospects, I believe in 2011. I started with the Cubs and I wrote

five guys. I put that out.

It was very proud.

It was a lot of hard work.

I didn't have a lot of contacts.

And I was just, I was, I was working hard.

And I started getting feedback, why only five?

So then I moved it to 10 and now we're up to 15.

So there was only ever one top five prospects. And that was, I think, first year was 2011,

maybe 12, I think it was 2011.
