Do you find it, you know, now when you're doing conferences, do you find people grabbing hold of this concept and embracing it and seeing the fruit and it just like you did 10 and 15 and 20 years ago when they just believe the principle that male and female are different.

One of the things we're up against is whenever we talk about men, women will initially hijack the conversation and say, well, what about us women?

And I spend five hours talking about when men kill dishonored and unjustly treated W Mutiny, they'll leave the jump ship or they'll throw you over ship.

Because we're equal, doesn't mean we're the same and every husband and wife are going to have differences and they're going to have honest differences.

How do you have healthy relationships, particularly in a culture where you're easily triggered, where, you know, if I feel offended, therefore you're offensive and you don't cause me to be the way and you reveal the way I am.

Well, Dr. Egridge, thank you so much for taking the time to be with us here today. Like I was just saying before we recorded, you have blessed my wife and I in a tremendous way.

And the term love and respect is just this common part of Christian vernacular, all of a sudden now, where people and it's just a household term in Christian marriages and it's impacted countless homes.

And I know I'm grateful for that, you know, countless people are grateful for that. And so we're, I know so many people are excited to hear about your story and about some of the current projects you're working on.

But could you in your own words, maybe tell us who you are, what, what you're currently doing, you know, when you bump into an old friend and they say, Emerson, what are you doing? What's the answer these days?

Well, no, that's a good question. Certainly the love and respect concept was not new to me. I mean, the Apostle Paul said it 2000 years ago in Ephesians 533.

I pastored was the senior pastor of Trinity Church in East Lansing, Michigan for nearly 20 years and exposited scripture. And that's where I discovered something in that Ephesians 533 passage that we call love and respect.

And so we'll comment on that. But I mean, if an old friend said, Hey, what, what are you up to? Well, actually, I'm more excited now.
