There are liturgical buzzwords. What do they mean? Do they mean nothing? Today to talk about that is Tim Gordon my co-host Tim. Welcome back.

All right, so we already did a show. We did post Vatican II theological buzzwords.

And we had some good ones on there. Of course, Pastoral. Pastoral was right at the top of the list, people of God, prophetic, social justice, dialogue,

springtime of evangelization, new evangelization, all that. we encountered a lot of terms and we had a

accompaniment along the way with our faith experience you know you and I created a

faith community during that time.

Well, this shows a little bit of a faith community.

In the winter, the literal winter of evangelization,

we're waiting for the springtime of

evangelization here in this faith community.

Yes.

So those are the words we went over,

if you're interested in, and see the previous show

where we go through all these cheesy buzzwords that are constantly used in homilies and capital

campaigns and stewardship campaigns and even documents. So all right, we're talking about liturgy.

And there's some real doosies in the liturgical world.

People use these words to change the theology of the mass, change the theology of liturgy, but I would say almost all of them regard downgrading the place of the priest as a sacrifices.

When I was looking at all these terms, I said,

basically we're trying to notch down priests.

Yeah, it's a unifying theme without a doubt. Yeah. So probably the number one on this list, Tim, would be Presider.

Anything about that term?

Presider is just one who happens to be there.
