Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm coming to you from Topanga Canyon, California.

I had a friend come visit yesterday.

My first visitor actually, and we sat out on the porch and had a beer and talked about

life as one does.

And while we were talking, I looked up into the trees and there's this up on the hill

there.

There was about 100 yards away, maybe there is a dog, big dog, a German shepherd or something.

And I thought, oh, there must be a house back there in those trees and they've got a dog.

That's cool.

And I noticed the dog wasn't barking, which is nice.

But the dog sort of stared at us for a while and looked like he was free.

He wasn't on a chain or anything.

And I thought, yeah, it seems weird.

Like a dog staring at us, we're talking, seems like that dog would bark or whatever.

Anyway, the dog after a few minutes trotted off at an angle where he came closer to

us and I realized, that's a fucking coyote.

That's not a dog.

That's like a wolf-sized coyote.

Yeah, there are a lot of coyotes back here.

You can hear them at night, howling and yippin and occasionally they'll catch a rabbit
