Just knowing that I had kind of earned the respect of him during that and then all the fellas, you know, and they started yelling, skip, skip, it was, that was another one of those moments that just get emotional about.

Not only the football side, but knowing that those guys like me and

cared for me that much, that to me means as much as anything. It's one of those things that you just never

At 6 foot 10, Dan Skipper stands out on and off the football field, but his journey from Arkansas

to the NFL has been larger than life. A three-star recruit out of high school, Skipper came to Arkansas and quickly assumed a starting role. He would start 47 straight games for the razorbacks, which is the second longest streak in school history.

Gipper is the guy that's going to get his hands up. Watch right in the middle. Number 70.

Skipper blocks seven field goals at Arkansas, just too shy of the NCAA career record.

And he was a two-time all-SEC selection and played a

role in some memorable moments. You got to go back to October of 2012. They're

going to run and get that boot. They're going across the field. That's

theirs now. The first win is against LSU trophy game. And then you go beat the

brakes off you too. That was a lot of fun. But a standout college career doesn't always equate to immediate success at the next level.

At one point, Skipper was making pies, wondering if his career was over. I think I'm I'm probably done with this thing and working in her parents pie shop at the time and

you know what shot it was a pie shop so making pies yes I're making pies. What shop? It was a pie shop.

Yeah, so I'm making pies and Thanksgiving.
