Alright guys, welcome back. It's another episode of the Bear Performance Podcast. I'm your host Nick Bear, owner of Bear Performance Intrition.

0:16.5

And on the show today with me is the man in the myth legend Preston Bear. Welcome back.

0:23.0

Here I am. It's good to be back as always. I think we literally kick off this podcast when you're on an episode the same exact way every time.

0:30.5

Yeah, there's, you know, for me, I could probably change things up a little bit more, but I guess I just like my routine.

0:37.0

Preston is like, Preston is a man who likes his routine, who is resistant to change. We're actually very different people.

0:47.0

I'm like my dad. Yeah, so Preston growing up is just like our dad. And me growing up, I was very similar to my mom.

0:59.0

You guys are like creative, taking initiative to do new things. And we're just kind of like always want to do our own thing.

1:08.0

Like we need to buy, like for example, we're the same socks for years and obviously need to buy new socks and we don't buy new socks.

1:15.0

Here's a clear example like that. Preston's kind of like he's cheap, just like my dad too. So Preston will wear boxers and socks until they're like he said, literally have holes in them.

1:28.0

It's like rip down the butt. He was wearing these pair of boxers the other day that literally his ass was hanging out because only one butt cheek was covered.

1:38.0

I came home to my apartment one day and I saw my girlfriend. I finished, took my wash out of the dryer, I guess, because she had wash. And I saw my boxers were clean, but they were on the floor for the dog to go after and for Hank to go and chew up and stuff.

1:54.0

And I was like, what's going on with these? These are perfectly good and everything still. And she says there's their covered it holes, Hank can have them.

2:00.0

I said, no, I picked them up. I wore them one time more time. It was obviously way too ripped. So then I threw them out after that. But it's just things like that.

2:09.0

You just can't like go of certain things.

2:13.0

I was using the same blanket. I finally threw it out because there was no stuffing left in it anymore. Use the same blankets since I was six years old.

2:24.0

It was actually really disgusting. It was like a, it's not like a fancy blanket. It was just like a blanket that was comfy. And I don't like thick blankets. I just like light blankets. And there was no stuffing left in it. So I was like this works perfect.

2:36.0

So long story short, we're very different people. But today we're going to talk about a subject and issue an event that we're on the same page on. And that is Black Friday sales.

2:50.0

Now the reason we want to talk about Black Friday is because we're going to dive into the evolution of Black Friday as a company and kind of how it's perceived as business owners and operators.

3:03.0

Other than the consumer views Black Friday. And we always say Black Friday is like our Super Bowl. I mean, you always describe it that way.

3:14.0

Yeah, that would probably be our Super Bowl. I mean, that's especially we're not like a Super sale brand. We just do fourth of July pretty much. And then Black Friday. So it's like two times a year. And then this is the day of the year where everyone's on shopping and stuff.

3:29.0

And that's madness here or any e-commerce store. That's their Super Bowl usually too is Black Friday. Everyone's participating.

3:36.0

So we we decided a few years ago that we were not going to be a discount brand. So like our affiliates, our athletes, ambassadors. They have discounts that supports them and supports the business.
