may not be the podcast, your podcast or choice amongst British sun-seeking holiday makers

this summer. Lots to get through in today's show. A lot of questions today, I think, rather

Jaffrey, who got in touch on Twitter to ask, if you had been serving in World War II,

which regiment, squadron or ship would you, if possible, have served in on and why? Well,

your thing is, er, er, the whole point is to kind of think, thank God we didn't have

to do that. Well, exactly. First things first, thank God I've never had to do any of these

things. I mean, I was, I was at, I was at hand in the other day and looking at the bombers

and you think, no, that's shit, I wouldn't want to be in a bomber. Right. Because at night,

you get shot down, killed by the flat, shragum music, something like that would happen

to you. Yeah. And it's at night and it's at night, terrifying.

Um, er, daylight bomber, no thanks, um, er, fight a plane. Call P-Doh bomber across the

Mediterranean. Yeah, no thanks. No thanks. Er, worse, I think that was worse of all. Yes,

coastal command, which is really boring. You know, it's boring. Um, and dangerous,

dangerous. No thanks. Um, right. So that's the area. Inventory, forget that. Inventory. Absolutely

forget that. No way. Um, er, tank crew, I don't want to be bored alive in a metal container.
