He's more than just a football chairman is part of our community.

He's done so much for our community.

He's given millions to charities locally.

Although he's not somebody who courts publicity in terms of talking to the media very regularly, very quiet on

that front and the whole family are. He he's still been approachable and

he was quite happy for fans to go up to him and take selfies and smile and wave and just say hello.

So he's always been welcoming to the fans.

We came here for a football match.

We came here to talk about goals and sendings off and managers, but in the end that just became all irrelevant.

I think his heart and soul was into this place. I don't think we've ever met anybody like it.

Come along and just take on this city and bring us to where we are and it's just a shame

We've now lost him that that that's the thing that I think less is going to have to come to terms with now. He's no longer with his but I think he will be in spirit forever.

He fell in love with the club that we all love and he did everything he could for us.

And he gave us moments that we could only possibly dream of.

It's just such a sad day for the city and for the football community and the whole.

I think we're just heartbroken.

I mean this chairman, he was more than a chairman to us he was really hot and sold
