It’s June 10th. This day in 1845, at the funeral of Andrew Jackson, his parrot “Poll” had to be removed from the room for excessive swearing.

the Reverend William Meniffy Normant. So Reverend Normant writes and I quote

Before the sermon and while the crowd was gathering,

got excited and commenced swearing so loud and long

as to disturb the people and had to be carried from the house.
