Hallmark Christmas movies. I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Christmas movies.

And this is Heather and Chris. We were actually in a Hallmark movie. And this is the

Deck the Hallmark podcast.

What a big day. One of the things we wanted to do with this podcast was we wanted to watch

these movies and we wanted to review them. And then we wanted to find out more about what

women are going to make into the movies. And for our first episode back in 2019, when

we were going to do this, we could think of only one story. This was top of the list.

We talked to a lot of actors, directors, people that wanted to come on the show. We're

going to have a mom we're super excited. But to get the real life couple from once upon

a Christmas miracle, also known as Christmas delivered. Christmas delivered. And we got

it. Chris and Heather are joining us even though they listened and heard me make fun of their

story. And I feel super duper honored that they're here. Guys, thank you so much for

being willing to join us and talk about your story. How was real quick? How was your Christmas?

How was your holiday season? It was great. We had Christmas Eve at our house for the first

time this year. So that actually all went smoothly. And we went to my aunt's house for Christmas

days. So yeah, it was good. I worked for Amazon. So this Christmas was really busy for

me. Like 70 hour work weeks. But wow, I'm glad it's over now. Wow. I hear you. So you

guys sound like there's some Midwest accent there. Are you guys from the Midwest somewhere?

Yeah, we're from Chicago. Nice. Of course. We live in a suburb like south of Chicago. Are

you? I have heard that this week, no one's going to care. But I have heard this week is

going to get crazy cold. Like are it? Is it? Oh my gosh. It's below zero right now. Oh my
