I didn't see many examples of women who had married, had children, and were happy.

What's important is that we keep believing that we can do better, that we deserve better.

But creativity is not the exclusive province of designers and artists.

I've interviewed so many creative activists and advocates. People have designed their

professional and often their personal lives to improve the lives of other people. It's a

creativity applied to the real world that begins by imagining a better world and then doing

something about it. And these days, we need these people more than ever.
