Greetings of salutations, everyone, it's everyone.

It's Rich Wilson. Today is deadline day about midnight. So I am in a hotel room in Aberdeen, Maryland, just outside of Baltimore. I was down doing some personal stuff today with my mother.

And I did not realize that today was deadline day when I arranged the trip about two weeks ago.

I assumed it was on the 31st of July and I was incorrect.

So I have been writing my fingers to the bone.

This is going out to all of our listeners,

not just our Patreon subscribers, but to everyone.

And I have written up 24 posts on all of the trades that were made.

I might have one more to do, but I've just run out of time.

I want to go to bed, but I thought I would put this out just to give you some of my thoughts

on what happened today and yesterday. Obviously, a lot of trades that were done.

The, you know, I mean, what I want to do is kind of talk about the teams I thought did the best.

This was, this is not going to be looking at things more from a fantasy standpoint, though

I'll touch on that a little bit, but more from a baseball standpoint.

Unfortunately, I did forget my headphones, so I'm literally screaming into my computer.

So if this doesn't work for you and you decide not to listen to it, I totally understand,

but I'm doing the best I can. So we'll see how this all goes because when I'm talking into my computer, I have to kind of flip it away so I can actually see my notes.

First club I want to talk about is the Texas Rangers.

They made a lot of moves early on.

Brought in, obviously, Max Scherzer was their big pickup.

But, you know, they brought in a number of other pitchers, and that's what they needed with the loss of Jacob de Grom and Nate Avaldi.

Those were the kind of players that they needed to acquire to kind of have a chance to go to the World Series.
