And today, Les is going to cover a couple topics, as Les always does.

But the topic I want to address here is where Les is talking about making decisions, which is something that a lot of us struggle with.

I really struggle with

this for a long time in my life. And I'm going to tell you one thing that I read that completely

transformed me when it comes to making decisions. And I'll tell you that in just a second.

I think of decisions as doorways. You know, we're at where we are in life and in front of us are these doorways and we have to

decide which one to go through in order to get to the next level. But here's the thing. There's no

guarantee that you're going to choose the right door. And that's the thing that keeps so many of us

from deciding on things. It's that anxiety of what if I don't

pick the right door. Well, if you don't pick the right door, you can always just make another

decision. But if you don't pick at all, you're just going to stay at the level that you're on

right now. And for a lot of my life, I was stuck because I was not making decisions.

I was afraid of being wrong.

And I started reading books on decision making because, you know, whenever I want to learn something,

I just go and pick a book.

And one of the books that I read was called The Power of Decision by Raymond Charles Barker. I believe that's his name. Let me just double check real

quick. Yeah, that's his name. And on page 30, he writes this. Now, brace yourself, all right?

Because this really rocked my world. Quote, to be an effective adult requires you to make decisions.
