When I was younger, I couldn't wait to have a boyfriend.

But I went through an awkward phase, like four through seventeen.

At this time, I was living with my single Syrian Lebanese dad in Whitey White Newport Beach,

with towhead mega families and chubby bushy eyebrow only child me.

When Chris Farrah was in middle school, figuring out how to fit in was a big mystery,

but not as big a mystery as sex.

Another thing about me is that I've always been a sexual being.

I mean, I found out, I started masturbating really early on.

However, I found my porn, if you will, and they were in oral signs.

Sexy teen thriller series, Fear Street.

A book series where people make out and get murdered and solve crimes.

This was goosebumps for the spin in the bottle crowd.

So to solve the mysteries of romance, Chris turned to the masters of mystery itself.

Moreover, the books allowed me to feel what'd be like to have a boyfriend through the power of writing.

So I just decided to pick up a pen as many a young artist has and I wrote my own teen thrillers.
