All right, here we go go welcome in everyone to this week's edition of the deer hunter podcast it should be friday the ninth of july 2021 when you are listening to this the day that this episode will be

released we're going to have a little bit of a shortened episode here this week,

but I think everyone will find quite a bit of value in this episode.

Maybe some of you guys have a much different strategy,

but you'll be able to take a little bit out of this.

And for some people, I think it'll be a game changer.

I know it has been something that I've developed for over the years of trying to spend more time in the woods.

And, you know, I'm going to label label this episode the art of the all-day sit

because I think there's quite a bit involved to, oh, being able to not be miserable sitting all day.

I'm going to reference essentially mid-November when the bulk of this is taking place for myself so what I'm going to talk about here today is going to involve

essentially sitting all day in a tree stand with temperatures ranging from I it could be zero it could be around. It could be a little bit above freezing.

So there's a couple primary things that we're going to have to take an account.

One is obviously the weather. Let's just start there.

So the all-day set for me preparation essentially starts the night before taking a look at the weather having an

idea of what you need to be prepared for to be comfortable to sit all day there's a couple

different things that are going to go into this obviously you need to know what weather you're

going to be combating for that day and you're going

to have to dress appropriately and bring clothing so that you're not absolutely miserable because

if you're miserable you're just way less likely to be able to sit in there and if you do

oftentimes you'll find yourself fidgeting around and it's just not good for hunting.
