Summary

Cara was targeted and stalked by a man she had encountered on the internet, with their interactions being solely online and over the phone. After a few conversations, Cara told the man she was no longer interested and blocked him. Frustrated by his inability to reach Cara, the stalker impersonated law enforcement. Through this ruse, he obtained Cara's personal information from her wireless phone service provider. Armed with this data and her personal information, he continued to harass Cara, as well as her family, coworkers, and friends. He sent them inappropriate photos of her, issued death threats, and even drove across state lines to show up at her house.
