Just reminiscing about how nice it was to see you last week. Oh, I can't wait to find out what we thought last week in the future in the future.

We have Katie Caff from J type design build and reinvent.

I'm not going to lie. I thought it was Kathy Caff the whole time you sent that to me.

Kathy Caff and then you said Katie and I was like, OK, that's better.

So Katie joins us. We really talk about something that we're all facing right now employee retention.

We're talking about client retention, but also I think the general consensus is that, you know, a lot of us are business owners.

And we struggle to realize that everything is going to be a constant change.

And we are so hyper critical when someone leaves, you know, whether they quit or if we have to fire someone or even when we're hiring someone, how that can change the company so so quickly.

And, you know, and like I said, we're oftentimes too critical of those moments thinking that because someone left, we're doing something wrong and we dig into that.

Yeah, I feel like my biggest takeaway was just this kind of eye opening that as business owners, small business owners, so many of our decisions and reactions and feelings are based on emotions and not actual business practices.

So I think, you know, a lot of us would be far better off just on a daily basis, you know, if a lot of our decisions and reactions to situations were just from a business mindset rather than from a personal mindset, but it's just tough because we're in it.

You know, we're around everyone. We're around every decision and we're emotionally attached to everything.

Yeah, it's a good conversation.
