Today we are going deep, deep, deep, deep,

on Resident Evil Requiem.

The game comes out in a little less than two weeks ago.

We're getting close.

We're getting scared.

But we have to look at this game from every gross angle to see if it helps us get hyped. More hyped? Less hyped? Probably more hyped. I am scared of the game. I'm not scared of this podcast, thankfully. I'm scared of this podcast. And you know how some people say, like, oh, I'm a diehard fan of Blank? Like, I think we're like die easy fans of Resident Evil. It's like, yeah, we played a lot of those, but not all of them. But for some reason for this one, we're both like pretty like laser focused on it. Yes. And like really looking forward to it. So we want to spend some time talking about just like our last questions on the game before we actually get a chance to play it kind of dig deep into like

why didn't we ever get bigger into this series

like how are we dealing with the fact that we're frightened

all these things that are important about playing

Resident Evil this is so unlike us because

we are typically not super fans of horror games.

I think you've played a bit more than me, but truly is because we are scared.

We're chicken.

And yeah, usually I see that a game is horror genre and I immediately go like, no, not for me.

But there are certain ones, and this one in particular, and we've definitely played some

Resident Evil games in the past, but this one in particular has, like, captured our interest, and we're willing to push through, even though we are frightened. Yeah, and it goes, it's more than it just being on a Switch 2. There is something about it. No, it's way more. Yeah, something about it. So, you know, a few weeks ago, there was that guy, Alex Honnold, who climbed the skyscraper

with no ropes. And I watched that and I was captivated by that. And then there's another

documentary that he did where he climbed this mountain in Yosemite, again, with no ropes.

It was like five to five hours of climbing straight up, no ropes.

Yeah.

And they did, it's part of this documentary, they did a scan of his brain and they showed him like scary, like pictures and stuff.

And they're like, let's see how this activates your brain.
