Welcome to the Michael Schirmer Show. I'm your host Michael Schirmer. The title of this solo episode is The Truth About 9-11 and Terrorism.

Today is the 20th anniversary of 9-11.

So I've titled this episode, The Truth, because it's a play on words.

It's what the so-called 9-11 truthers have attempted to

abscond with that word and turn it into something quite the opposite. So let me say

up front that I agree 9-11 was a conspiracy.

What?

Well, if you define a conspiracy as I do in the next book,

as two or more people or a group plotting or acting in secret to gain an

advantage or harm others immorally or illegally, then by definition, 19 members of

Al-Qaeda, plotting to fly planes into buildings without warning

us ahead of time, constitutes a conspiracy.

But the ultimate failure of the 9-11 conspiracy theorists is their inability to explain away the overwhelming evidence of the real conspiracy by Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda.

Now, we've published many issues of Skeptic on the 9-11 truth claims and confronted them one by

one and knocked them down.

But here's what I mean about a few of the incriminating facts that still stand and the 9-11 truthers have no explanation, alternative explanation for these. For example, the 1983 attack on the marine barracks in

Lebanon by a radical Hezbollah action the 1993 truck bomb attack on the World Trade Center.

People often forget that.

Terrorists had already attacked the World Trade Center buildings.

They just failed to bring them down.
