What Most Impulse.

Hello and welcome to episode of what most people think and I'm recording on the Monday after the Wimbledon Tennis Final on the Sunday.

And just as a little observation, I don't know if you're a tennis fan,

got to be the least literate of any sport fans.

I mean, you just get the impression watching Wimbledon Tennis

that those two weeks are the only two weeks if their lives that they think of tennis. The moment that the tennis finish, they don't think about it again to the following year. And whenever you see a tennis fan interviewed as to what they thought of the game, they just, they just use a string of superlatives that sort of denote the fact that they know absolutely fuck all about the game. I was brilliant. I was such, you know, such great shots by by Jocco, by Jocco, you know, and the Spanish guy with the

shit hair. Wonderful times. So to share in this piece of cynicism or not is this week's co-host,

Nick Dixon. Am I being harsh on tennis fans here?

Well, you've hit me with a tennis question right out the gate, Jeff.

I wasn't expecting it.

I know what you mean.

It's like people play tennis just once a year when they see Wimbledon.

You know what I mean?

You go down the courts, they've got coloured balls.

Remember those kind of like green ball?

They can't hit a backhand to save their lives. They can't serve and they just play just they see Wimbled and they play for one week. Clog up the court. I sound like a proper proper like Tory here. I haven't played for years myself. But when I did, Jeff, they clog up the court with their lobbing it with their no back backhand, and then you don't see them again the rest of the years. Yeah, I'm just not buying it as a sport. Like, there's most sporting events, you get the level, you get the sense that there's a good percentage of people in the crowd that have a level of expertise, like the way that they react to things. But the tennis crowd, I suppose there's always been that jealousy from comedians that in the post-match interview that they do on pitch, I mean, I know it's been commented on

before, but it's so fucking easy to get a laugh. It's just insanely easy to get a laugh. You just

have to do a right smile, and they're pissing themselves. We're going to be talking this week

about just this morning. We've had this

push that Rishi Sunak has had about rip-off degrees and obviously Twitter has lost its mind.

It's exactly the sort. I mean, to a degree that makes me think that Rishi might be on to

something. We're going to talk about the payoffer to the unions and the sort of doctors
